The way things are today I try not to spank in public, but sometimes you kind of have to. I have spanked in a hotel, and I pulled over and spanked in a picnic area one time. I thought nobody was around but towards the end a lady about 45 I'd say stumbled upon us.

She was kind of apologetic like oops, sorry just carry on I'll be on my way. She was smiling and didn't seem too phased by it all.

I was spanking my son at the time. I suspect there are a lot of double standards on public spanking. If it's a mom doing the spanking I think we are less likely to be scrutinized, now if it was a dad spanking a daughter that is definitely more dangerous so far as complaints to authorities I would think.

Of course some states the practice would be frowned on more than others and I'm in a state that is more anti-spanking.

40 or 50 years ago you'd just get other smiling parents who were all accepting that said boy or girl was getting what they deserved.
