I am glad you are using spanking to curb Carly's hyperactivity. Twenty years ago there was a growing body of research tending to show that spanking was better to treat ADHD symptoms than the drugs. Pediatrician Lawrence Diller was one of many. Google him and "A Spanking Might Beat Ritalin".

Of course the anti-spanking movement put an end to any of that talk.
