The painted femme walks slowly away from the herd. She looks back, but continues on at anouther wave of pain.

2 days later

Falcon trotts happily into the mainlands, a dark filly by her side. She stops well away from the herd so that River could ease slowly in, but to everyone's surprise, the filly bounds off and calls to the other foals. She dosen't stray too far from her dam, but she sure as heck ain't staying!
