People say the coolege years are the best years of their lives- I completely agree with this statement, and if you are only a freshman, then you still have a few more years to really enjoy yourself. College parties are fun, and college students are more open-minded and mature than what you probably experienced in high school.

With that said, it is not a bad idea to get in tough with this person you met online once he goes to school in MD. But just so you know, you will meet a multitude of people during your college time, so don't meet him with expectations of settling down or meeting your soulmate.....you have so much time to explore the many opportunities college will give you.
