I tried connecting through the Windows media player the mid-game the last few games, and was shut out - my guess is a capacity issue. My laptop connected to the Quicktime stream without a problem, by I couldn't connect with my desktop at home - running Windows XP. I followed the troubleshooting guide from the WVOF site, which had me change the Quicktime preferences for the streaming transport, and low and behold it worked. Below are those instructions - hopefully this will help you get connected to the stream. Good luck.

Open the Qicktime 6.0 Player (it has to be version 6.0)
Select PREFERENCES. Select QUICKTIME PREFERENCES.
Select STREAMING TRANSPORT.
See the black dot on the screen, make sure it is next to USE HTTP. This will fix everything! Not sure why it wasn't on HTTP in the first place but sometimes it does that.

Then click on the X in the top-right hand corner. DO NOT PRESS AUTO CONFIGURE! If you do so, it will reset your settings to UDP.
