Or McDonald wanted to get to the end of the game and Dux still has some gas in the tank, especially since they had collapsed against Manhattan and Iona.

The Griffs have only 3 healthy guards and only 9 healthy scholarship players. Their recent late collapses can be directly attributed to that. You would have to be brain dead as a coach not to pressure the griffs and make their guards work hard. I would compare it to Marist 2 years ago when the they had no one to back Kennedy and they regularly let games slip away at the end.
