Re: Coach McCloud -- RayS, 11:19:35 02/09/03 Sun
According to the Conn. Post he quit because his wife found the adjustment difficult. I find it odd that he leaves with only a little over a month left in the season for that reason. She couldn't stick it out for one more month???
I showed the article to my wife she translated that as the other wives didn't exactly welcome her. Even assuming that's the reason I still find it strange that he quits at this point in the season. In the past few years we've had players leave the team now coaches strange very strange!!!

Coach M was liked by the players - there was a lot he could've given to the team. He just couldn't adapt to the coaches head games with the players. I'd bet Al Eford and Matt Roe understand!

I agree. I'm wondering if McLeod was one of the differences this year.
The Canisius game when he wasn't there was reminiscent of our previous style -- choking at the end of a game, and now today's game versus Niagara ... we lost our way.
I think his resignation says a lot about TOT and I hope the administration is listening.
