Agree on Ajou. He is not fully back yet. Its got to be very frustrating for him. He was never the quickest of players, but the surgery has slowed him even more. He cannot do the things he did last year. Sometimes serious injuries take time to heal..... in order to play at a High Athletic level..... sometimes as much as a year.
As an example Duce Staley of the Eagles had a serious foot injury. He sat out an injury year, came back the next, was not effective, and finally this year was 100% and had a good year. Didn't Leroy Roberson have a broken foot, could have bee available in midseason, but waited until the following year..... but he said he did not feel comfortable on it until mid season.
Defense is the big issue with Ajou right now.

Welcome back, missed your inciteful analysis. I was asking below why we kept trying to pound it inside against a team that was obviously prepared for that strategy. If our stength is the front line why aren't we dominating the boards, especially on the off. end?
Your point about the lack of fundamentals is I think the key here, raw talent can take you only so far good coaching has to get you the rest of the way. If as one poster crowed a few weeks ago that TOT has brought in the most talented players in the league the question must be asked "Why are we losing at home to inferior teams?"
Secondly the turmoil over Mcleod leaving with only a month left in the season can't help. With all due respect to JS I don't believe for one minute the reason given in the Post. I'm not going to speculate but I find it incredible that he & his wife couldn't have stuck it out for 30 more days! I mean its not like he's leaving because someone offered him a great job elsewhere.
I certainly hope we're not seeing a repeat of '98-'99, but if we are GD will have a difficult decision to make. With 6 gms. left we have to win 5 to hit 18 wins & at this point our only hope for a post season berth is if we win the MAAC Tourn.

How fitting, the slightest bump in the road and Stag 92 raises his "ugly head" to jump on the "fluke", "woe is me", "collapse" bandwagon.. it is actually comical... no posts during the run (presumably due to the fact that he/she is unable to comment in the "positive") and now he thinks he/she smells blood in the water and poof -he/she re-appears to enlighten all with his "wisdom"
Give back your diploma - which I presume you received - the proper term is "REGRESS".. not DIGRESS... which you used twice.. proud FU graduate!!

Before you go correcting others perhaps you should clean up your own act. I noticed you passed up an opportunity to respond to several posters that posted accurate information in response to your blantant lies. Tell us more about Coack K's record, I'd love to hear another distortion. Tell us about how the stags are guaranteed to have two consecutive winning seasons (which they are not).
I agree with these other posters. This team is on the decline because they have become too predictable. Unless the coach changes the game plan, this team finishes the season with only one more win (against loyola). For the sake of the program I hope the coach makes the adjustments. Frankly we have too much talent to be losing to Niagara and Siena at home. With the exception of the games against Manhatten, this team should have been able to run the table.

Where, in this instance Joe, is there bantering between posters? Just delete his/her posts, they are never about basketball, rather, personal attacks. Again, Delete the post!! In fact, if they can't discuss basketball, ban them from the board.

Working 80-90 hours per week for the last two months and moved from Norwalk to Monroe on Jan. 3. Pretty crazy. Appreciate the kind words.
