biggest win in years and all you so called experts dont give credit where credit is due. tot and his staff did an oustanding job if this continues you clowns wont be able to bash tot anymore because he and hobbie will be gone to a real program where they belong and deng gai and marty osullivan will be with them. be carefull you never know what you have till its gone.

Your right TOT does deserve a lot of credit for last nights win. He provided the proper defensive schemes and matchups to hold down both Flores and Johnson. He also attacked the Jaspers froncourt getting them in foul trouble, and utilizing our depth.

I think the bashing of TOT is old news. Yes, there are still people out there that cannot forget the disapointing seasons of the past, and see the great and memorable wins of today. Yes, there is still criticism of the coach and his stragegies, but thats normal from any enthusiatic sports fan.

This program has been heading in the right direction for a while, its nice to see the W's coming along with it.

And if TOT and Hobbie enjoy tremdous success here, all the better. But if someday TOT decides to move on, why would you think that Hobbie would go with him...... don't you think that Hobbie would want to be a head coach himself someday??????

Although I can see how someone might confuse the only TWO positive posters on this board!!

I am just happy to see someone else having some courage - besides Joe Stag - to give credit where credit is due - it is called maturity and class...

No name was mentioned. Why do you think I was referring to you personally?? To say that one posters opinion is similar to anothers is merely an observation on my part with no slander intended. Furthermore, I don't think that saying TOT will leave and take his asst. and some players with him is in the true spirit of my university and FF basketball! Does TOT think he is too good for this institution? Do you think he is? I don't think he thinks that.

You have the right to express your opinion on this board just as I do. If you happen to agree with that poster who call others "clowns" who take a more objective view of the coaching staff and their performance over the past 5 years, then so be it. We can agree to disagree.

Truth Ruth, don't sweat the small stuff. Your opinions add to this board. Some people act like bullies and don't like it when some one throws it back in their face. You may become over exuberant at times, but that's O.K. I think the common thread for the vast majority of posters is the sucess of the Fairfield Men's Basketball Team. We all want the same, but different personalities bring out a wide range of views, on a game by game basis, of how to get there. Keeping the passion is the key. Not caring would be far worse.

When does StagAl say this post sounds like Truth Ruth? He doesn't. You are being presumptious to suggest that he is referring to you.

Secondly, IP Addresses are meaningless. The office where I work boasts three regular posters to this board, we have a router and proxy server such that all postings come from the same IP Address. Conversely, when I post from my home at night, I obviously post from a separate IP address. The fact that I come in from two different computers(2 ip addresses) does not change the fact that it is me posting in both instancess. And the fact that the IP addresses in this case are different is also meaningless. It may or may not be the same poster.

Truth Ruth the people who post on this board are enthusiastic about the stags, most have followed the team for many many years. You are not alone in wanting the team to succeed. I'd be less concerned about the accusations of others and more concerned about occassionally getting a fact straight in your posts. If you could support you positions with accurate facts, people might actually listen to what you say rather than ridicule you....
