Chicago State was 13-19 on the season BUT they beat Northwestern (Big10) to open the season.

A 13-19 record and Chicago State gets "invited" to a post-season tournament. Why not Niagara at 16-16?

It’s the CBI. Pay $30,000 and you are in. Only filled 15 of the 16 slots.

Winners Win
Alpha Dogs Lead

Chris Casey is both. But you all ran him out of town.

How lucky we’d be to have him back

Amen to that. Mal.

Sometimes genius isn't initially known.

As a guy who watched CC games at Niagara, I can say that he didn't do much for us. Did he recruit these players he is now coaching?

Chris Casey had a long time to do something at NU. He didn't accomplish much. His FF team failed to win the MAAC. Now he is playing in a tournament that cost his school $30K to play other teams that also paid $30K. The CBI.

What would you be saying about him if this team was Niagara this year and he was the coach?

WOW ! Chris Casey fans alive and well at Niagara basketball.

He didn't do very well at Niagara: No MAAC Regular or Tournament Championship.
No NCAA or NIT invite.

Fairfield: No NCAA invite. No NIT invite.

What is the big deal about Chris Casey ? I don't get it.

Are you guys so hard up about a Chris Casey CBIT invitation, and wins against such power houses as Chicago State ( Ahmad Henderson chose NU over them) and a now irrelevant Evansville, that you don't remember Casey's failure at Niagara.
