GP seems like a great guy and likely can be a good coach as it relates to wins and losses. But the deck is so stacked against him.

I wonder if he takes the job today in the current market place and setting.

This is not on GP. This is on system that is so stacked against schools like NU that it’s almost impossible.

Add no engagement from the school and a fait accompli mindset and you have current state

There is no way you can turn the entire roster over every year and win at school like NU.

As rightfully pointed out by others, the losing and decline just picks up speed the more you lose. There is probably no way out of this cycle sadly. It would take a total 180 from all constituencies at the school. And an outlay of money that NU can’t allocate.

It is always cheaper to keep your house up then do all the repairs at once once it starts to crumble.

What’s the end game here?
