Simon is from Western Pennsylvania, he's not leaving. How many people actual care who the AD is.

A few years ago, NU lost its two-time interim Athletic Director. The former athletic business manager transitioned from athletics to a campus-wide role. Simon then appointed a former Athletic Director from Medaille, who may have been involved in the decision to construct a stadium for Medaille, located some distance from the campus, which is now being considered as a potential venue for a professional soccer team.
