Back in the Mihalich days, people were starting to hear about Niagara again. I had Company meetings scheduled so that we could see the MAAC tourney finals.
NU was finally getting away from the “what was the name of that little guy that scored a bunch and threw a baton” reputation. And, just like that, it was all washed away.
When I bring up NU now, it’s either a blank look or back to the Calvin Murphy comment.
