Subject: 3 Days To Go - Blue Tactics

In general, a good common sense way to look at it is to think of all the things you can do to become as independent as possible from those on which you tend to be dependent: especially utility companies, goods suppliers, and, of course banks and government.

You've got to ask yourself: Will I be in good shape if these entities stop supplying me with the things I'm used to getting from them?

And ask yourself the really tough question (for most): Am I ready to leave my home for an indefinite period if things get really bad? This is fairly critical if you live in or near a large city.

One thing that hasn't gotten much coverage, probably because it is almost unthinkable by most folks, is the possibility that sewer systems in larger cities will fail. You may not have thought about the implications of this potentiality.

If the sewer system in a city the size of Seattle or larger failed, the operations of the city would grind to a halt almost immediately and it would only be a couple of days before a major health crisis occurred. Evacuation would be imperative. You would want to leave as early as possible, before the hoards and the health problems and riots.

Keep in mind that a major power outage or water utility shut-down would likely affect sewer utilities, since they rely on these systems for operation.

I just wanted to make this point to remind you to keep your bug-out bag ready and your gas tank full. And don't forget to stay in touch and be friendly with your rural acquaintances.

Stay low, Blue friends! GF
