I would say that the answers run about half and half these days. Even on the libertarian boards, most of the play is given to trying to change the system through political action. The Gorilla is too big and too fat to be manipulated like that in any constructive way.

"Who knows better how to live your life than you?"
I believe that was the theme of much of Early Harry's work.
The idea of focussing on direct alternatives and withdrawing support from, and having as little to do with the system as possible, makes much more sense to me than trying to slide little skateboards under the Gorilla.
