Subject: Under Control In Tonga

Tonga will be the first country to meet the new millennium; about 20 hours before the Americas.

CNN reports that to celebrate, the 85 year old king of Tonga has released a CD of himself playing the guitar.

When I was in elementary school I had an odd-shaped stamp collection. I still have it. I just dug out the stamp from Tonga--I remembered it because it was the prize of my collection. It's a bright, multicolored, large, round metallic stamp about 2 inches in diameter with a picture of the then-middle-aged king in the center smiling. It's a stamp from a country that apparently could care less what everybody else's stamps look like.

They'll obviously be okay in Tonga. GF
