Perhaps that over-blown ego is what we should focus on to start. How to exploit it? Any ideas?

OK, forget debate for our purposes here. Like you point out, that's covered. How to shame or break the beast is what we need to focus on. Again, any ideas?

I don't see ignoring them as a negative. If you're getting responses, your influence is getting thru. Also, they most likely are of the "cheerleader" type so they have an interest in watching "their" team compete.

As for the ip thingy, if our plan is worth its salt, that will not come into play. We "neutral" can bring much to bear on that front methinks.

>so, that's the lay of the land.

First, I think we study and stalk our prey. Come up w/ canned responses that overwhelmingly trump his canned responses and demonizations. Can you identify any of his most frequently used trite put down? He seems to use them as a shield or armor. We need to nullify the effectiveness of that protective device.

>questions, comments?

You know him best, what do you think his other vulnerabilities might be? What pushes his buttons?

Once we determine those, then we design an innocent looking, but very lethal trap for his ass.

Also, you need to try and change gears from rational/logical to vicious ridicule at will. Belittle him ruthlessly when he uses his little trite labels for anyone who disagrees w/ him. We "neutrals" can repeat your observations by quoting them in responses we make re: fairplay etc. This will let him know he's less than 100% approval. Which will almost certainly irritate the hell outa him.
