Hi Max, good to have you back! I hope you don't let all that serious stuff in your life ruin your spirit--that's pretty much the worse thing that can happen, you know. A really good thing to do about too much serious stuff is to start a plan to systematically get rid of as much of it as possible without decreasing your standard of living to an unacceptable point. Hmmm, it occurs to me that I've perfectly described Zenman's entire lifestyle!

Speaking of serious, it's kind of funny that you should come back to the board just in time to see AM's post of Jim Bell's article, which, if taken seriously, is certainly not relaxing at all. Let me explain that, contrary to popular belief, many anarchists (AM included, I think) ascribe to a philosophy of non-aggression. That philosophy is, in fact, what defines their anarchism. And that's a major reason they do not like government. Government is force.

The purpose of Bell's article, and AM's posting of it, is to make a point, and not really to advocate putting bounties on bureaucrats (hmmm....well....). The humor in it is that it really is a quite creative and rather sort of appealing idea to anarchists in the way that someone might fantasize about offing a despised inlaw with some elaborate scheme.

Anyway, glad to have you back, Max! Say, I wonder how Suzie feels about the article. It is interesting that she used the term "hit" in her post subject. :) GF
