Rather than just worry, I've found that taking
protective steps make me more comfortable.

That's why I live in a cave on a farm. Chiseling
the phone jack in the wall was a bitch.

That kind of life is too extreme for most folks,
but in any case response to future perception is a very individual thing, ain't it.

We're all such babies. Hell, consciousness has only
existed for around 5,000? years.

And the Universe, according to some folks, has been
here forever so it could care less about us puny
life forms until we really learn to kick its ass.

Jeez, talk about conceit. Kinda like the flea floating
down the river on his back with a hard-on screaming, "Open the drawbridge!"

Kick ass and take names.

Or, alternatively, go smoke some good rope.
