He was stopping by with some sort of concoction from his mother and their dog, on top of it all. Tika was making things a little difficult by demanding that they take her route or else. They had made it to the door in one peice, and so he stood, with Tika's leash wrapped once around his legs and a glass casserole dish held tightly, as though it were the holy grail. Knocking was an entirely different story.
