Are these "Brass button bears?" They sound like this type of bear. If you can find out the actual name brand or style, e.g. Cabbage Patch Doll, Amy Lynn or whatever the actual name of the bears, I am sure you will be able to research their worth on Ebay.
If you don't know how to do this, but have some more info on your bears, let me know and I can look it up for you.
