I'm really, really glad--relieved, even--to hear that other people have made up non-muggle alter egos! I thought I was the only one with a derangedly overactive imagination! ;o) That said, here's my (completely fictitious) story...

I was a bit of a late starter. Being from a family of Muggles (although I have my suspicions about my little brother), I didn't start to display magical tendencies until freshman year of high school. I made headlines in the California wizarding community, since I was the first Californian accepted into Hogwarts in one hundred and four years. I transferred to Hogwarts for fourth year and I'm now in my fifth. I've had a lot of catching up to do, but my friends helped, of course. I'm now neck and neck with Hermione, which annoys her no end, seeing as she works much, much harder than I do. (Note to Ann--if what you described is your real personality, we have LOTS in common! lol) The Sorting Hat argued with itself for nearly ten minutes trying to decide between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, but it finally made me a Lion after all.

My wand is ten inches, oak (sacred wood of the Druids, you know!) and inlaid with Connemara marble. Yes, I really am that obsessed with all things Irish. It gets worse. You see, in MY Hogwarts, the houses have Irish dancing teams which compete for the Maith Rince Cup! I was allowed to bring my own cat Tigger to Hogwarts, since there's no such thing as a Muggle cat. I like Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts. I even like History of Magic, but only when Prof. Binns covers an Irish section, like on Eithne the Effervescent or Niall the Ninny.

Am I forgetting something? Nah...I don't think so. This is fun!
