For those of you who might be interested in this. There is going to be a fund raiser for the Attleboro Community Theatre. The performers of the fund raiser will be the Lords Pair, with an opening act by some freak named Jo-Jo.
Here's the information:

ACT has been the resident theatre in the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum for 8 years. At the end of this season, the museum is expanding into our space. We are looking -- desperately -- for a new home. This is the first of two planned fundraisers to help toward the "relocation fund."

ACT is a 501C3 nonprofit organization. Any donation is tax deductable. Price for admission is $15.00. All proceeds go toward the relocation fund. The show will be Saturday, November 30, at 8:00 pm at Attleboro Community Theatre, 42 Union Street, Attleboro. There are directions on the website, www.attleborotheater.com.

Here's a blurb about The Lord's Pair: Bev Darling and Lori Manney have been performing as their alter egos, Sisters Molly and Brigid (of the Little Sisters of Our Lady of the Evening) for the past seven years. The act was originally performed at King Richard's Faire in Carver. Intended for mature audiences, The Lord's Pair performs their own particular brand of
humorous (and some traditional) music with an Irish "tilt."

If any of you want to have a really good time and fix some of that "I need a taste of the faire" joneses. Stop on by, it's all for a good cause and you can actually see me do the grape catch INSIDE with low ceilings and bad lighting...boy, this ought to be good...wow, I'm the opening act, I must have really sucked in CT this year. Sheeesh...

Sean

Sean,

This sounds like a lot of fun. I'm interested in attending. I know you said it's $15.00 to get in, but will there be advanced ticket sales? If so, let me know & maybe we can meet up so I can get a ticket from you.

Besides, I haven't seen you since the Festival of the Lions faire. I'm sure that "Congrats" are in order for you..... =)

I've got more info here to answer any advance ticket questions.
People can call to reserve seats at 508-226-8100. ACT doesn't use tickets, but they do have reservation sheets. People will be able to enter into the theatre at 7:30 on Nov. 30. The theatre seats 100 and it is General Audience seating...in other words, "You snooze, you lose."

Just kidding, Sean....you know I love ya in a good way!!

All the way down in Attleboro??!! I mean who wants to go all the way down there? Any further south and you're in friggin Rhode Island and I'm sure no one wants to do that.

Wait a minute, I live in Attleboro (the theater is a brisk 25 minute walk from the apt complex). If anyone would like to meat up there are two convenient restaurants. One is Morin's right on South Main St and the other is Union Station on Union Street. The Station has a bar for those wishing to imbibe. Who knows it could be fun. And it's for a good cause.

Happy Attleboro resident since 2001.

Mongo, I highly recommend any Attleboro restaurant that has a bar. The Little Sisters of Our Lady of the Evening are MUCH funnier after a few martinis. Trust me on this. But don't -- under any circumstances -- be late for the show. Nuns go on a rampage when people are late for "class." Please also see our website at www.members.tripod.com/thelordspair.

Blessings on your little head,
Sister Molly

A few other excellent places to dine close to the theater are Wetherlaine's on County St and Eli's Pizza on County St...and Wetherlaine's knows the ACT crew INTIMATELY...there's also the Memphis Steak House on Rte 1 in S Attleboro...about 10 minutes from the theater but very easy to get to and very easy to get to the theater from there...

food, alcohol, angelic singing and ribald humor??? doesn't get ANY better than that!!

There you go, birthday girl (by the way, Tina's 40 today!!!), giving away our convent secrets. Can I help it if the bartender is cute?

And anyone who would like to buy a nun a Guinness after the show ... well, don't tell Rev. Mother. Shhhh!

So what everyone is trying to tell all of you is either:
The show is going to turn into a kegger, or...
We really suck when you're sober.

Gee, no pressure here.

Okay, new game plan.

Come early to the show, and look for the Bumble Bee God. I'll be the one passing out the little bumble bee stickers with the acid on the back.
That ought to make sure you guys have a hell of a time, where you'll be leaving the theatre going, "You know, that bumble bee was pretty funny and those penguins?! Man could they sing!"
I think the title of this show should be called,
A NIGHT ON NOAH'S ARK.

Sean
