Hey, go to Iraq any day of the year and you'll find an amazing Renn faire! The people there faithfully recreate the feel of Iraq during the Renaissance. There's filth and sand everywhere! The rich and powerful live in magnificent palaces while the poor dwell in hovels, tents and caves. Camels and farm animals are abundant for the kiddies to look at and pet. Women are treated like dirt and forced to cover up from head to toe in public. Don't miss the displays of the truly medieval justice system! Eye for an eye at it's best. I was amazed at the realism, the only problem I had was that it was so big, I couldn't find the exit to visit the modern parts of the country. Oh, wait a minute.....Nah couldn't be......

Actually, they never made it to the Renaissance. They are still stuck in the Dark Ages over there. Believe me, I know. I served in his majesty's Royal Artillery Corps in the Great Crusade of '91.

Ah, the Royal Artillary. Yes, I remember you all. You fired upon me several times as I flew by. One of you were rude enough to aim for my big anus.
Well fought battle in '91.

And isn't Iraq one of the more "progressive" countries in the region? I believe there is much more "Western dress" allowed in Baghdad, no?
