Subject: Invasion of Mary's Land

Well folks, it was a small invasion but a successful one. The annoying Triplet, Myself and a Bonnie Scot were well entertained at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. We never managed to connect with Penelope Wadsworth Biddington (who remembers?, come on now) although we met some people who know her. The Faire was beautiful, large, interestingly laid out and guess what... AFFORDABLE!!! The food was even CHEAP and of an excellent quality. The entertainment was lovely and the shopping... ooooohhhhh the shopping.
We were well entertained by my Evil Brother and his Lovely Bride. And for those who know her the "Spotted Whip Tail of Doom" was supremely excited to see her "Pack" again. I would definitely recommend going to this show. The people were very nice. The are also incredibly helpful when you've realized 10 minutes after closing that you've forgotten a purchase at a booth. (Alan with the long hair and the kilt I am eternally grateful to you).
We've spent some time and now it's homeward bound. In the morning we'll be heading north again to where we'll actually need our cloaks and jackets. See you soon!

The Evil Duke and Duchess were the talk of KRF this weekend - the family is very concerned about this random sniper fire. Please please please you guys, stay away from Home Depot and Michael's (na, can't see the Evil Duchess going there!)Please take care and stay safe!

Thanks for your concern. While the shootings are occuring frightfully close to our home and work environments we have managed to stay away from the shootings. I think it is more karma than anything else. We are going through our days and the normal routines. I refuse to stay in and hide as some are doing here.
Aside from that we had a fabulous weekend with Zera, Bonnie and John. It made me realize what fantastic friends I had made in such short time before moving to Maryland and I miss you all terribly. However this faire here rocks. Thanks all for coming down and hanging with us, it was great fun and I can not wait to do it again!
