Subject: Carolina's opening weekend!

Hello!

We just opened down here for The Carolina Ren Festival and I must say I am working at a truly amazing place. We had 6000 patrons on our first day alone despite temperatures close to 3 digits (luckily I get 3 half hour breaks to rest and get water. I needed them). It was really great to have an endless number of new faces pouring in to play with. Though it made it hard to fight your way across the site when you had to. The place got crowded quickly.

And the food is quite good. I am going to try and slowly sample everything they have over time. Luckily I'm given enough food tickets to eat twice a day. I'll have to save up the money to buy more from the independent food merchants. But they have a great bakery and candy shop.

It's been great fun working with the street performers here. I have two shows with the Royal court, one in which I teach the princess all things French (poetry, history and love). And another (my favorite) in which myself and a mud beggar usurp the throne for a reign of terror while the king is on break.

Special thanks to my Mom who labored endlessly to make me pants bigger than my previous ones. I am now poofier than ever. And it seems like many people are being very receptive to my act and what I am doing. I'm glad they like it. The producer keeps cracking jokes about the pants at morning meeting.

Over all I'm having a blast down here and can't wait till next week. I hope a few of you come and visit.
