Subject: She was curled up on the couch, her brow furrowed as the knock interrupted her pouting. The phone had been ringing for the past two hours, non-stop and she wasn't sure if it was Gavin or reporters but she had turned the answering machines volume down - not caring to find out. At the knock, she rose, looking through the peep hole. Reluctantly, she opened the door when she saw it was Ethan, taking a step back. She definately looked worse for wear, her face to pale and drawn, the effect her weight loss was having on her fully visible. "Hey."
In reply to: Ethan 's message, "

Man, it takes a silly girl to lie about the dreams she has
Lord, it takes a lonely one to wish that she had never dreamt at all

  • "Hey neighbor... I come bearing gifts..." He held the bag out to her and offered a small, quiet smile, head ducking a little and hands shoving into his pockets. She was such a complex woman, he didn't have a clue what she was thinking about ninety-nine percent of the time... So he just tried to smile and play-nice and hope that she didn't get mad at him for some reason. She was perhaps the only woman in the entire world who had ever intimidated him.
