Since her dad had gone ahead and hired Wonderboy to take care of his girlfriend, therefore rendering him completely useless, he had decided to take advantage of that opportunity and rush back to the coast to take care of some things that really couldn't wait any longer. As untrusting as he was of Wonderboy, he still knew that the guy had medical training, and that because Bianca was still in such uncertain shape her parents and Reilly would be around a lot to check in on her. If he absolutely had to leave (which he did) then he had figured that this was the least worst time. For the past two weeks, he had been working pretty much double-time in order to get enough done that he could come back here right away, but still the time had gone by oh-so-slowly. So often, he was worrying about her so much that he would have to stop in the middle of a session to call Reilly and make sure that everything was okay. His band mates were being saints though - patient, understanding, accommodating. Management, however, was being a little bit more of a challenge. They were trying hard to help out the superband's lead guitarist, but they were under a lot of pressure themselves to get this album done, and get it done fast. Gavin had been putting in enough solid time though that they were satisfied enough that he could return here for a while. He had caught a flight early that morning, and arrived back here just about an hour ago. A limo had been waiting for him at the airport - he usually just took a taxicab at this end of the line, but his agent had already arranged for the ride for him - and had taken him straight here to Stetson - his girlfriend's posh apartment building. Dragging a suitcase behind him, he took the elevator up to her floor, and then stepped off to knock immediately at her door in front of him - it felt a little weird to knock, but he wasn't too sure about just bursting in right yet. He had been exhausted that morning - had a lot of trouble crawling out of bed - but had slept the whole flight and was just relieved that he was going to be back here with her. A black hat pulled down over his head, blonde waves spilling out beneath, he wore faded and tattered designer jeans and a fitted black tee, black flip-flops on his feet. Circles lined his pale blue and slightly bloodshot eyes and dark tracks marred his arms - but he was clean and sober and had been using around her only enough to put off the harsh withdrawal symptoms. Usage had increased while in Los Angeles to combat his stress, but it was just an aspect of his life that he dealt with. Gone was the glamor of heroin, and here was the burden of a consuming addiction that was eating away years of his life and thousands of dollars out of his pocket....
