Producing a sugar cube from her pocket quickly, she offers it to her new steed...
"Come Buckdancer! We have things to do, people to see, places to visit... Would you mind if I rode?"
She must have sounded crazy, speaking to the horse as if he understood - she thought he did, and would risk being thought of as crazy to convey her wishes to Buckdancer...
