She had stayed too long in An'Kor city. It was time she departed. Sadness consumed her raven eyes, but she knew this steed would be ok now. He was free to go.

Quickness overcame her as she scurried down the barn aisle, stopping at the last stall, which was conveniently situated by the exit. A scrawny, black mare stood within its' boundaries. With rapid ease, the elven maiden unhooked the stall gate and slid inside. She slipped a rope bridle over the mare's dial and mounted, giving the beast a mild nudge. The mount squealed before jumping into a canter out of the stall and through the open doors. Once outside, the sensation of freedom overwhelmed them both, and the mare jolted into a gallop towards the Northern road. -
