I know it has nothing to do with Distophia but wtf:

What would you do if,.... you were going out with someone who was absolutely lovely, they adore you, you love them but no matter how hard you look at it, you find you arent IN love with them. Then also at the same time theres this other person whos like a soulmate, you can really be yourself with them but they really fancy you and you dont fancy them back. This makes them feel like they cant be your friend even though you know in your heart that you are meant to know them, you need their friendship.

Finally, also at the same time theres this really gorgeous person who you have been madly attracted to for years without knowing who they are and even though you are with someone else you are drawn back to that person time and time again, this is the person who you really fancy, this person really shines but they dont seem the slightest bit interested in you.
But is 'fancy' the be all and end all? arghhh...

I think I should just give up and be a buddhist monk in Tibet.
