i cant help feeling cheated by this 'war'. how the fuck can you have a war against someone when they've done nothing to provoke you apart from possibly having missiles that can be fired for thirty miles more than we allow them to?

Nearly all of the newspapers support this 'war' (and any opposition there is is deferential and tame), when the majority of the people oppose it. what kind of values does that convey about democracy? - precisely the kind of 'democracy' that our government is trying to impose on iraq! the whole thing is such a contradiction that its not even worth pointing it out.
