Mention "Thundercats" or "He-man" to someone around our age and you'll get an outpouring of dewey-eyed nostalgia about how great those cartoons were. Cartoons like those are remembered by just about everyone of our age group.

Mention "Bravestarr" and you'll more than likely just get a blank look. No one (or at the least, very few) remembers it or has any idea what sort of cartoon it was.

I know that cartoon makers don't make cartoons simply so that young adults will remember them fondly in ten years time, but the fact that very few people remember Bravestarr surely illustrates the fact that it had relatively little impact on the young minds of the era?

I for one thought it was great though, although I don't remember no Highlander cartoon....

(cue thousands of replies from people who remember Bravestarr and how great it was, just to smash my argument to the ground)
