Subject: It was one heck of a fight.......

I shot two of the seven that had gotten a hold on "Ugly Cat." It appears that "Ugly Cat" had killed one of the coyotes, and hurt a second one real bad before the rest of the coyotes "ganged up" on him! He could have taken the easy way out and run to safety, but that was not his style. I put a blanket around him, and got him to the vet, but he was chewed up pretty bad. I am getting choked up again...
He had lost a lot of blood, and we could not save him. I buried him under a oak tree in the back yard. I hung the three coyotes by their tails, on the fence at the back of our property, as a warning to all coyotes in the area that they best keep away. I was proud of "Bad Cat" when I saw him walk by the coyotes and "sprayed them!" He will make a excellent replacement, but I will always miss "Ugly Cat." I am really getting choked up and better stop..... Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas)
