In reply to: UnderDog 's message, "What kinda name is Ice Man,and Bubba and Falk ??? .....n/t" on 10:53:19 07/20/01 Fri

Ice man was famous for selling ice to General Custer the day before the big battle. He sold just enough ice to make Custer want more....it was a hot day! The morning of that fateful day, ice man told Custer "if you want some free ice, I know where you can get it." He told Custer to go Northwest, over several hills, and if he saw a few Indians, follow them. Ice man said that those few Indians were hiding lots of ice. As Ice Man departed Custer's camp, he said "if you follow my suggestion, follow those few Indians, when you cross the last hill leading to a beautiful valley, you will get the surprise of your life!" Later is was discovered that Ice Man was a cousin of Sitting Bull. End of that story! Now for Bubba, a very famous name in Texas. Bubba's great, great, great, great grandfather, Bubba Wilson, was a aid to President Lincoln. He was with the President when he was shot by Mr. Ford at the movie theater. This is where many history books are wrong. Mr. Ford did not jump over the rail to escape, he was pushed by Bubba Wilson. Bubba Wilson was trying to make sure that Mr. Ford would not escape, and by pushing him over the rail, he was hoping that Mr. Ford would fall on his head, breaking his neck. As fate would have it, his fall was broken when he landed on a fat liberal democrat that was sitting at ground level in the movie theater. This broke his fall, and enabled Mr. Ford to escape. Bubba Wilson was given the ribbon of honor and his picture hangs in the main laundry room in the White House! I do not know much about the name of the man called "Falk." I do know that he is a retired teacher, and is famous for having taught George W. the English language, and helped to get George W. into a class that taught people how mechanical things were made and how to repair mechanical things. Falk will always remember how George W. was interested in voting machines, and how they worked! Under dog, I hope this explains what the names represent. Bubba
