Hey Guys. Proud to print my name and email and say: It blows my mind that you would still use the name "the smalls", even though it seems you're well aware that the smalls have blazed a trail of musical brilliance for eleven years here in Canada, in Europe, and in parts of The States, and have four albums and a documentary under their belt. As a fellow musician, I believe there's really no shame in using a little common sense and respect and changing your name. Especially when you're using the name of an original band that has had such an impact as the smalls have had, and are as well know as they are. I realize from what I've read on your site that it wasn't intentional, but just a fluke that you chose the name. But come on. It seems you've known about this for a while. I know a lot more people here would respect you and be on your side if you did the right thing and changed the name. It just makes sense. Please, please, please, stop using the smalls' name.
Also, sorry to see so many angry posts from fans of the smalls. I too wish they would harness that energy into protests that were a little more coherent and mature, but at the same time, I can understand where the anger is coming from. I genuinely wish you could too.
