My whole outlook on life, never mind just music has been warped. Your words of wisdom has inspired me to start my own band, "The Colleens" Anyways, to respond first off, "incredible threat to the Smalls of Canada"???? - What the hell? I don't get it? what's there to be threatened by? Are the fake smalls good at playing music? probably not, but that's not the point. I don't foresee a cover band climbing the charts and making it big any time soon. We the fans of the REAL Smalls cant stand the fact that they dont care they have the same name as a real band and refuse to change it. second, "As your popularity continues to expand with every performance" - So that's it now I've figured it out, Randy Riley and the boys have decided to make their careers off the backs of other bands. Bring em' in with the name Smalls and keep em' from leaving with the soothing licks of Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" thirdly, "The Canadian Fans are not capable of finding the Canadian Smalls Website????", offer a class for the Canadian Smalls Fans that teaches them how" - WTF you just don't get it do you????? That's the whole point!! The Canadian fans are trying that's how we end up here. Myself, like almost every other REAL smalls fan went to a "search engine" (I don't know if that's what it's called I may need to take a class on the "internet" whatever that may be??) and typed in the smalls, and this fake ass band came up. Maybe in a couple of months I'll type in "50 year old lounge singers" and Randy Riley's name will come up. lastly, "looking very forward to seeing you in January and remember lots and lots of DANCE music" No comment. We are not talking about Brain Surgery - Please - you type in a website address and bingo you find your desired website! If the Smalls of Canada are this Fabulous band (which again I am not disputing that) I would think their fans could master typing in their Website Address. I would guess that it's not like a secret handshake or something their website address should be easy for their fans to figure out and type in END OF STORY! Sincerely Colleen E. Perkins

I just want to say, that I'm absolutely blown away by the hostility shown by the Canadians here. Guys, I'm not very pleased that I'm searching for The Smalls, and came across this fake Smalls website. But then to see that you've lowered yourselves to actually have an arguement with a bunch of yankees over it is embarrassing. We all know who was around first, and we know how kick ass The Smalls are (not to mention unique and super talented) we don't have to convince anyone. I've been a Smalls fan for their entire careers, I saw their first tour and their last. Now I just want to say, To Each a Zone. Everyone has their opinions, but bottom line is there is such a thing copyright laws, and if the issue was pushed by the original Smalls, then these Chicago fellows would have no choice but to change their name. Now as for slagging the Canadian Smalls.....I doubt most of the american slaggarts have ever heard the guys...so don't knock it till you try it. I haven't heard the guys on this site, there for I don't feel the need to slag them....but if they had any self respect at all, they'd change their name. That's just my opinion.
