I never thought I'd call you President,
But now I'm glad I see that I was wrong,
For in the White House, you're a resident
Who makes the U.S. proud, and great, and strong!
All should swing wide its door - you do belong!

Some feeble minds might not admit you're great.
Historians of lesser kind might fault your reign.
However you'll remain a Lord of State,
Beyond their thoughts - beyond all that's profane.
Your stately deeds shall live beyond disdain!

You are a President whose Time should be
Written in letters large upon Time's page -
Yes, large enough even the blind will see
When lesser statesmen try to smear your stage.
This new millennium's highlights start your age.

Your age must bring a grander peace to Earth!
A peace devoid of terror's mindless woe,
As you, with allies, foster Earth's rebirth,
Uprooting human brambles where they grow.
Your Age will be a grand one - Time will show!
