She did a speeding turn on the forehand, her back hooves flying up off the ground, her spring-loaded haunches shooting like rockets into a nearby tree that's trunk was around a foot in width. A loud crackling sound filled the air, then the tree fell over, cleanly snapped in half like a twig. She explained, "You might not be able to crack a tree that big yet, because your hind legs aren't fully developed yet. But.." Her eyes scanned over the filly's frame, "You seem stronger than most I've seen at this age." She pointed with her eyes at a tree around 4 inches in width, "Try that one. Buck into it, plant your forehooves down to steady yourself, then drive your back hooves into the trunk as hard as you can." She directed.
