Subject: Why it worked... (you knew you could count on me.)
In reply to: Becky 's message, "Re: Hanso" on 20:52:31 11/11/06 Sat

Here is how it worked...

The hanso screen that shows the loading percentage, and the hanso logo is one flash movie... the memo is a second movie inside that movie... When flash loads sound, it loads it in layers... the hum, and the message are in separate layers. the message happens to be in the same track as the first movies music track... which has the volume jacked up. The loading of the music for the first movie is controlled by code, that does not execute when you use the rewind, or back commands, so the message stays loaded, and the volume increases to the setting in the first movie.

I have had this happen with flash movies before.. and while mine was totally accidental, I am not sure theirs was.

Congratulations, Beck, on using a flash player bug (whether intentional or otherwise) to get the message.
