I love Trading Spaces although I could never bring myself to actually participate. I am too afraid of what those people would do to my home. Agreed on the painting perfectly good furniture. What do you think the weirdest thing is that they have ever done?? What is the best? My votes (the ones that pop up right away) - Worst and yet weirdly cool: the home theater. Best: tie between the living room that went upscale and the garage turned playroom.

Also - has anyone seen the new show (is it on TLC?) when your spouse leaves on a trip and they remake a room in 24 hours? The spouse or significant comes back to find the bedroom or basement redone... I might be willing to try that one.
