In reply to: Perseus 's message, "*As dark as the shadows...*" on 17:29:57 02/23/03 Sun

Her ears flick in surprise at his voice. "My name is Carcajou," she replies, "and yourself?" She'd managed to catch a "T" in his name when he'd spoken to the other, but she wasn't a fan of eavesdropping.

[> *As dark as the shadows...* -- Perseus, 17:12:21 03/02/03 Sun [1]

*He turns his head slightly to listen to the stallion who had entered himself into the situation. Though not wanting to look like a fool for not understanding one word the other stallion had said, he replys to what he actually understood.*

Ah my friend, but that is where you are wrong, I do not lead anyone on, I don't believe I hide very much because...well there is nothing to hide.

*He watches the quieter mare leaving the situation and of course now that she would be the more challenging mare to catch, she is the one he wants more. He decides to pursue her at a later date, when this stallion is no longer around, for he is afraid that if Talmaar speaks again he would want to kick him in the teeth. He hates condescending and arrogant smart asses cramping his style when all he is about is having a little fun. He smiles jokingly to the stallion because he is not in the mood for any trouble at the time. His distaste is not apparent. He now turns to the mares who have addressed him.*

No, no I am not from around these parts, myself and my master have lived in Evil Valley for a short time but we originally were on a trek from our homelands to another destination. Our journey was called off and we needed a place to stay until our journey can resume.

*He smiles with a confident air and he turns to Storm to recognize that they had met before. He smiles at her still, his eyes dancing playfully

"Excuse me, Persues, my fellow comrade. Is there a problem between you and my nephew?" As he spoke, he stared fixatedly at Talmaar. "Talmaar, I know your mother is gone, but don't cause trouble for the others."

He perusals at True Evil with a naive expression, then his russet eyes avert to Perseus. "No, no problem, Uncle Evil." With a haughty look, he chortled mutely at the swaggering apprentice. "We were simply having a disagreement. You know, the brotherly bickering." Still standing adjacent of Carcajou, he merely glances at the horde with a detached exterior. "Right, Perseus?"

Without waiting for a wavered rejoinder, he faces the mare to counter to her query. "Talmaar. Glad to meet you, Carcajou." With a trivial smile, he starts to observe the tributary that inaudibly ran behind the equines.

<< Carcajou, you have AIM?
