They stood with the impeding silence, the Arabian's mind racing with cruel thoughts. Why can't it be the way it used to be? When it was fun and carefree? When I could dart around the territory as a youth and pretend the war revolving around us wasn't occuring? I need someone who returns the love I feel for them. Everytime I try, it fails. How can I trust again? I'm not a risk taker, never was. But some things are worth taking the risk. Like wanting you. He manages to tear himself out of his train of thought, before saying the words that were so caught in his throat, "I have a mate." I have a mate? What the hell was that? So be it. He did have a mate. One that he could share politics with. One he could rule beside with. But what about the passion he so longed to feel? He could not honestly say that he shared any intimate momemts with Confetti nor Zolotaya. When would it start?
