She watches mutely as the stallion comforts himself. I think this was more a lecture than a conversation, seeing as you've done most of the talking, coming out of her shell, she clears her throat, then stops. What if she said the wrong thing? I'm doing more wrong not saying anything. Now we've regressed from being friends. I don't want to be friends! I'll never be able to see him as a friend, ever! "Evil I just don't want to say the wrong thing," She croaks finally. "But I do..." Trailing off, she glanced away from him. Her throat burned with unsaid words, she already knew she had said too much.

I'm torturing him, is this what I want? I should just accept a friendship between us as the closest I can get. I'll still be with him, and we'll still talk. She accepted this now, though a small voice protested that she wouldn't be happy. "Evil, if you honestly love Zolotaya, then more power to the both of you," But I honestly don't think that's the case.

Having caught sight of his dad, his sharp ears picks up the mare's more recent words as he just happens to wander 'aimlessly' over. "Honestly love who?" He inquires impulsively, the puzzlement created by the words erasing the manners burned upon his mind by his diligent mother. His eyes, so similar to those of his father's, are clouded by veiling mist as he glances from one adult to the other. The mare he cannot place. Her face, and voice, is slightly familiar, but he is sure that he has never in his life seen her more than once. Actually, he believes, she left right after he first met her as a very young colt.

Why would they talking about love? I never saw them together when she was last living with us; I never even thought they could be friends! The colt is almost devastated by such a thought. In his opinion, everyone should be friends. Suddenly the colt flushes, his eyes dropping as he realizes that perhaps it isn't the best time to have stumbled into a conversation. His eyes still on the ground, he directs his voice towards Evil as his utmost elder. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you. I'll leave... but I'll talk to you later, right?" Now he looks up hopefully, his adoring gaze seeking his father's.
