Subject: §- Death's Only Wish -§

§- The beauty of having such a generous patron as hers was that everything came free... everything came easy. Her long lashes brushed briefly against her silky cheek as she laughed quietly. The cruel vocalization did wonders in this valley; a flower withered, a tree drew back from the singular, hideous sound. The small stalks that seeked to rise from their dried bed were crushed underhoof as she wandered almost aimlessly through her... yes, her valley.



That's what you get for being inactive, my dearest True Evil... or, at least, that's what you lose. Her eyes glittered with the pure and unwholesome evil that most of the dark horses dreamed about possessing, but shrinked away from when it came strolling up to be claimed. It was hers, the evil, everything was hers.-§

§- The enchantress paused her light steps to observe the colt with her cold, heartless eyes. Suddenly, rippling tresses flinging against her proud crest, her gaze became level with the yearling's. A moment, no more and no less, passed. Then her head was taken disdainfully upwards and tossed with a snort.

Still her gaze watched the colt with all the intensity of a lioness. Yes, I am the highest, but why should I accept you? You appear to be a mouse, a weakling- I have no need for that like! If you want to be pampered like a Light then find another place to plague; Lights belong with the Lights, weak Evils belong with their own... which are you, colt? Are you weak or are you strong?-§

You, she pointed her slender muzzle towards the colt, can hardly be named just 'Flames', and you can hardly be named 'Flurry'... And so, my red-eyed duo, the names. -§

§- Hardly fitting names for a pair of Evils, mused the enchantress silently, her blazing eyes mellowed in thought as they turned from one foal to another. They had chosen the usual dull, boring, and unoriginal names. Feh, if for once these horses would just think about it instead of spewing words!

She nodded sharply. Very well, children. Her glance sharp, she turned and began to leave the two; she would find better names when the time was ripe. -§
