((the academy's on the board! it's linked, and then you get a list of links, and it's the fourth one that actually is the academy))

his chiselled pallet turns a mask of disgust as the female speaks, and as she smiles smugly at what must obviously be his verbal defeat he peruses the mental list of reasons why, after he does get the throne, it will be completely secure from that point onward. would you like to hear that list? well, too bad. you really think that my poor arrogant frozen dreams is thick headed enough to respond angrily to insolence? no, no he's much keener than that. not a piece of eye candy, strutting imaginary feats with exaggerated pride. his conceit has an honest base. he's taken a good thing and corrupted it he has, but that does not mean he cannot back his condescending personality with cold hard fact.
for example, he is almost one hundred percent positive that once in the throne, it would not be won back by force. confident in his abilities the pallid stallion proves a formidable enemy. and it's a shame, or so he believes, that every one of the sheep in this evil flock is too far gone to realize that they must adapt to survive. he would be the new era. he was the future. of course, once he became ruling monarch he would never hold grudge against those who had been reluctant to take to the cause. second chances were handed sparingly from the individual, but from kings they were almost required.
tossing a single tolerant glance toward the giant, he expresses fully his distaste toward her impromptu boast, and her most lowly delivered sarcasm, implying the use of a demeaning recognition. he renegged to in any way indicate his feelings on the matter. returning his stare to apathan however, he pauses, absorbing the words the stallion had transcended even before the sheep had spoken up. now, the healer was one he could form a bare sort of mild appreciation for. he had experience and he was wise, if old. and he considered for a moment what the mascu had to say before tasting the wind once more to offer rebuttal, in a most obviously over-stretched gentle tone, which, like molasses, spread thickly over the atmosphere envellopping the small crowd.

well, i'm sure that if all goes well they may need your help afterwards.

his statement implied much. the most obvious implication being that the elder would be more a handicap than an advantage during actual battle.
the evening wind toyed mindlessly with his ebony locks as he stood, amid a gathering of enemies, dressed in the most serene of calms. his attitude was no more on guard than should he be strolling through the park an a warm summer day. ofcourse, there was always the refelexes. one of the reason's he felt so at ease was his swift ability to respond to threats, no matter how unaware he had been.

she was in a bitchy mood. it couldn't be denied. it was evident from the look of pure disgruntled abhorrance directed to the world that she wore over her normally pretty features. her sides were swollen with her unborn child, and she felt ugly. the mood swings that accompanied pregnancy did not fit well with her usual sarcastic and bipolar personality. her wrath fell immediately upon satan's outcast, because her blatantly moronic comment was the first thing that fell upon the rose's ears as she apporached. so satan's outcast thought she was clever, because she was 'secretly receiving training from them'! pah. wasn't that harlot even smart enough to realize she'd just admitted she wasn't as good as either aerial or frozen dreams, and she needed to leech off of their brilliance and knowledge? the stygian and steel femme fatale stifled the laughter that rose in her throat. aerial knew that as soon as her unborn child could stand, she'd teach satan's outcast a real lesson. she'd teach her her place. or better yet, she'd let her child do it. you know, it would be good practice for later in life.

aerial's attention was diverted to the two filly's then, but they were not worth the effort of analytically tearing apart, and so she passed them over with nothing more then a glance.

the next to fall beneath her glare was the healer apathan, but even in her frightful mood, she could not bring herself to insult him. he had, after all, fixed her leg after that gruesome battle with frozen dreams. of course, aerial had been the winner of that fight, and frozen dreams had come out in much worse shape then she had.

frozen dreams. she wouldn't even go there. ew.

true evil was the final participant in the gathering. though she had nothing against him personally, in this world of politics, they were enemies. he would fall beneath their mutiny, he would be crushed by their power. they would conquer him. yes, her mood swings didn't just make her bitchy. they made every single thing she thought and felt feel so much sharper. and right now, her emotions were running high, and she wanted to just hurt something, kill something...

...may i suggest everyone takes two steps away from the enraged pregnant equine?
