A satirical chuckle accompanied his words, but Bally's amused expression remained tainted with dislike. He muttered a few caustic profanities, beneath his breath to save the delicacy of Maleah, and turned to face the others. His immediate attention was drawn by the older stallion, one who as yet had not drawn his respect, nor done anything to dissuade it. Obviously, our beloved Bally was ill bred enough to be in a wonderously sarcastic and hopelessly jovial mood. He launched into his most poetic of discourses, completely ignoring, for the moment, any serious threat, "I don't know that we've met, my good fellow. I'm Ballyhara, unfortunate comrade of the quick to arms, but still beloved, True Evil. I dare say that with reckless, fast talking, potential assasins such as we have just become aquainted with, a healer will be in an absurdly high level of demand."

He nods with quiet grace to Ballyhara, responding with a rough chuckle. "Indeed. Everyone seems so keen to destroy that there has got to be someone left to pick up the pieces." His deep black eyes sparkle with amusement. "Ballyhara, eh? Well, I am Apathan, long-time friend of our beloved and elsewhere Malussinn, first Evil Lead Stallion, and now Healer; no more, no less." The dark bay tilts his head at his new King and the one who seeks to be his future King. "You know, I don't think there's anything I can do here. The fuse is lit, and if quenched temporarily will only be relit. The younger generation must take the force of the explosion, and myself and others like me can rebuild when it's all over." His cool words make him sound inclined to apathy; this is not the case. Throughout his long time in these Mountains Apathan has been a very active participant in the politics and pretenses of the Evil side. However, he feels it's finally his time to, so to speak, sit this one out. He will only interfere if asked, or he deems it necessary. Although these two hotheads might need a moderator. True Evil is far more capable than he thinks he is, and Frozen Dreams is far, far too overconfident.

"I think I disagree, actually," he mused with a frown. "We're going to need every ounce of wisdom and level headedness possible to back up a new government." Again, he motioned after the vermin that was Frozen Dreams, "Its my opinion that we should rid ourselves of that problem before it escalates. Now, in the morning of Evil's reign, why not be established as a king who takes charge?" Bally turned to face his old friend, metaphorical brow raised in the manner of a colt suggesting trouble, "How about it, old boy? Take the offense."
