The mare walks over to him quietly, pausing to itch her sloping withers. "'Scuse me for interrupting, if there's anything to interrupt," she begins in a clear though surprisingly gentle voice, "but I was looking for some form of authority here and I wondered if you knew where it was." An almost-smile is given to insure that she means no disrespect because, after all, it was kind of pathetic to be making enemies right upon arrival.
