I too would know their reasons, but humans can be very irrational creatures. There are only a few of us though, and if they start anything, raiding during the night is an extremely useful tactic against them. Fun as well, to hear them moaning and getting so upset when they find out.
::Her claws retract, and the tail stills as she thinks, her eyes becoming glacially calm::
