A red-haired maiden strolls in, absent-mindedly picking up various daggers and inspecting them. Impeccable workmanship. Lovely workings and sharp points. Hmmm ... She picked one up and inspected it from every angle. Beside her, a snow leopard padded. "Are you quite done? Weaponry make me nervous."
"Tira, do hush up. I need a dagger," she muttered. "You're versed in archery, not sword-fighting," Tira quipped, blinking his lovely ice-blue eyes at his mistress. Scarlet nudged him a little harder than neccessary with a foot, and the leopard growled placidly. "Oh, just shut up," Scarlet said good-naturedly. "Ahh ... This might be a good one. What do you think?" She held the dagger up for the leopard to see.
A gold hilt glittered in the light, a mark for protection stamped deeply into the metal. The knife of the dagger glittered with intricate carvings. "Too showy," said Tira sagely. "Fine," said Scarlet, replacing the dagger in its place. "Get a bow and a quiver of arrows. At least you know how to use it," argued Tira, padding along with his mistress. "I dunno," Scarlet said. "I'll just browse a bit longer ..."
